Dolce et Decorum Est Pro Patria Mori

If I was 18 in 1800, or 19 in 1900, I would have been one those soldiers who signed up to the army for a belief in the prestige and glory of the war. It’s vain and foolish to die for the idea of a country, but even more so to die for yourself.

    This is true. I am Reading this as part of my GCSE course and it is sad to learn about these people. Truly Sad.
